It’s time to practice and learn like the pros!

I invested money into purchasing a TrackMan after seeing it in action on the European and US Tours. “ Not only is TrackMan™ a major diagnostic tool when analyzing a players technique for me, and it also plays a vital role in providing progress indicators whilst technique improvements are being made.

I already use sophisticated equipment but I cannot imagine coaching without TrackMan now. It is impossible to get a complete picture of what is happening to a player's club movement through impact and what effect it has to the ball as it leaves the clubface

TrackMan has enabled me to coach my clients with total commitment to changes knowing the information i am working with is correct . With solid data I can measure a players progress during the process of a change and in conjunction with my other coaching equipment provides me with enough vital data to “tweek” the swing changes and achieve the desired outcome.

Before I even look at improving a swing I compile data to know exactly what is happening to the ball and club through impact. I want to know what the clubhead speed is, ball speed, angle of attack, clubpath, swingpath and how open or closed the clubface is at impact and if the hands are in front or behind the ball at impact. I then look to see which of these aspects need to improve and by how much in order to achieve the goals that the player has set. The changes that I make to a players swing are based upon improving the data to the desired amount.

Some clients that I work with are now more interested in looking at the data than the ball flight through the air! By using the TrackMan path and clubface measurements my students are bringing “feel & reality” together which has helped them control the ball like never before. As a result of TrackMan my students understand club path and ball flight so much better. This has helped them to reproduce their best parameters and make more great shots. It makes them stay in control of their technique, focus more and become more disciplined with their practice and training.

Training & Short Game Tuning

The Trackman III also comes with some fantastic training games, the most popular of which on tour is the Trackman Combine. A 60 shot test of accuracy and distance control takes in all the clubs in your bag, providing an analysis report of your entire game, a great aid to identifying where you most need to improve. We have also set up a fantastic distance wedge training program, which allows you to practice and refine your control of those critical short wedges distances under 125 yards.

Trackman III can also provide a novel and fun addition to any corporate or society event. Its outdoor nature allows us to set it up on any tee, and we can also use a high speed video camera.
